![]() Like don't they have other performances they're going to do? And it's only first semester. But in universe, it's only opening night. Like I get for us the show is over and they are doing these big goodbyes to say goodbye to the show and cast. The only part of the ending that hid so awkwardly to me, was them all actually saying bye after the musical and the press announcement. I really enjoyed the ending and the Born to be Brave and Dennys moments. They could have all still done those flashbacks to before the s1 ep1 moments as a bonding moment before the musical the losing of the club plot was not needed. To which it was pointless because in the same episode the club was saved. But Miss Jenn was a whole ass teacher and she was just like okay peace out. Now, that may impact budgets the following year or contracts the following year. Like budgets are made way in advance and the clubs still would keep going through the semester or year. ![]() Like Glee, I still have this issue of clubs just closing in the middle of a semester or school year. It definitely made it feel like we were intentionally ending a show. At times it was hard to know if it was a Gina line or a Sofia line, which I liked. I loved Gina's monologue (minute the awful camera work). But I liked the actress and definitely wanted more. I still don't know what the point of Dani was. Also if you wanted to do it as just seniors then it should have just been Kourtney and Ricky. And Emmy and Jet should have been there since they were Taylor and Chad. But Ash played Kelsey and she doesn't do the jump in the movie. It only makes sense to us the audience because we know they've been there since s1. However, it doesn't make sense either from a narrative or musical perspective. They only had Ricky, Gina, Ash, Carlos, and Kourtney do the jump. I found the end jump in the High School Musical song to be odd. That Scream performance was rough, and not in the same way it was rough when Zac originally did it. That being said, Joshua as a Troy is still just a dubious choice. I liked the more rock/pop-rock take on HSM 3's songs as well as more of an acoustic take on the solos. I think they did some better arrangements with songs and suited the voices better than they have in the past. I absolutely love love LOVE the born to be brave with all the characters, felt just like getting out of the theater with all my friends □ Ricky's song and everyone else singing along □□ and the HAT!!! □Īnd the wicked song post credits with the cast was so heartwarming, imma miss them The goodbye scene ABSOLUTELY had me crying □Īww Mack, i hope disney green lights more mark & sparky for you ☺️ Kourtney figuring out where she wants to go!!!ĪNDREW BARTH NON-FRENCH FELDMAN?!?!‽ WHAT A TWIST!!! What's the ship name? Mashlyn? Ashox? Mash potatoes? Whatever it is, i'm so happy □ the scene was SO cute ![]() The plot twist of moving the movie to New Zealand is fantastic, i love Gina getting one over on Quinn □ Overall, i love how everyone's story ended up.
